FROM glitter gel to vintage stamps, the art of scrap booking has something to offer to children of any age.

And it’s also good for their development, according to Ranfurly Primary School visual arts specialist and teacher Ben Barker.

“Arts and craft is good for children’s co-ordination. When they’re using scissors or paintbrushes, that’s really helping them develop fine motor skills,” he said.
