TWO Mildura secondary schools will be the first in Victoria to be part of the Stars Foundation.

Funding for the Mildura Stars Program was announced in early July, with the two-year program expected to improve education and health outcomes for young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women.

Stars Foundation CEO and founder Andrea Goddard and development manager Michael McLean visited Mildura last week to research what the community wanted from the program.
