DRIED Fruits Australia (DFA) hosted a viticulture workshop at a Red Cliffs property as part of a new industry benchmarking project this week.
Dried grape grower David Lyons and about 20 growers and industry staff gathered at Mr Lyons’ property to discuss winter pruning practices and pruning dried grape vines.
Mr Lyons is one of seven participants of the benchmarking project, funded by Hort Innovation and DFA, which aims to determine the best practice for growing dried grapes.
