PLAYERS went into Saturday’s Millewa league match between Cardross and Werri­mull with extra motivation as they remembered and honoured their late teammate Brad Manna, who lost his battle with brain cancer in July last year.

The second annual Purple Game attracted a lot of supporters, with the theme colour splashed around the grounds and decorating players and Manna family and friends.

“Figures would have been up on a normal match, it was a good crowd there for the day,” Cardross Football Club president Jeff Surgey said.
