MILDURA Rural City Council has two flyers available to inform residents of ­requirements for ­removing, destroying or lopping native ­vegetation.

The flyers provide information on native vegetation clearing on both rural roadsides and private property.

Councillor for environmental and farming sustainability Anthony Cirillo said the flyers were designed to be an educational resource aimed at a co-operative approach between government and the community to minimise native vegetation clearing.
