BARBECUED kangaroo and traditional dance were just a couple of ways staff of Sunraysia Community Health Services (SCHS) and the wider community celebrated NAIDOC Week yesterday.

For the first time, SCHS and the Local Aboriginal Network (LAN) joined to host the celebration.

SCHS preventative health manager Linda Henderson said the

event aimed to educate the organisation’s staff and encourage the Aboriginal community to use the service.
