ABOUT 30 children had their eyes and ears wide open this week during Enviro Edu’s cultural and environmental education program Wildlife Dreaming.
Hosted by the Mildura Library, the interactive activity gave the children the opportunity to celebrate NAIDOC week by receiving face-painting, listening to traditional music, learning about the local Aboriginal culture and discovering native animals.
Program co-ordinator Sarah Holmes developed the program with Michael Gilby, with input from members of the local indigenous community.
