AFTER last month’s NSW budget snub for Wentworth Shire, Deputy Premier John Barilaro says he is committed to responding to the community’s needs.
Mr Barilaro spent yesterday touring a number of the region’s current and future projects – which he said the government was “keen to get behind” – with Member for Murray Austin Evans and shire councillors.
“I think for a lot of areas of the state, especially in the remote corners, often people feel like they’re being forgotten about,” he said.
