THE group spearheading the replacement of Red Cliffs’ iconic boardwalk is calling on the community to back the project.
Design plans were recently drawn up and Red Cliffs Focus Group has applied for $200,000 under the State Government’s Pick My Project community grants initiative, which allows residents to vote for local projects they would like to see realised.
In February, Parks Victoria confirmed it would pull apart the dilapidated boardwalk, which has been closed to the public for more than a year after damage in the November 2016 storm.
