Comfort improves for airport patients

THE Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) has praised Mildura Airport’s new ­patient transfer hangar, which was ­officially opened yesterday.

Member for Mallee Andrew Broad joined Minister for Regional Development, Territories and Local Government Dr John McVeigh at the airport to cut the ribbon.

“This is a great outcome for regional patients living in a regional city who do need to travel to our bigger cities like Melbourne frequently for treatment and appointments,” Mr Broad said.
