The prelude to the final last Sunday at Mildura Golf Resort between Coomealla Blue and Riverside certainly wasn’t played like it was a dead rubber with both teams keen to gain some momentum going into the final.

Justin McPhee was in control of his game from the start over Tim Peterson with the final score at 4/3 with McPhee chalking up the first win for Coomy.

Mark Hann went the distance against Andrew Thomas but a win on the 18th saw Hann make it two wins for Coomealla and with Greg Rhodes winning 4/3 over Riverside team captain Leigh Fuller 4/3, Coomealla had done enough to go through the season undefeated.
