Third time’s a charm for Daniel Sanders

IT was a case of third time lucky for enduro rider Daniel Sanders, who was crowned Hattah Desert Race champion yesterday after finishing second two years in a row.

The Yarra Valley rider wasn’t prepared to fall short again and spent the past eight weeks training since the last Australian Off-Road Championship round.

“Coming second for both the other years has been hard and it’s what has kept me motivated,” he said.
