Polata’s class shines through

ROBINVALE-Euston coach Andrew Richardson has hailed 16-year-old senior debutant Liua Polata as a “significant talent”.

The powerfully-built teenager broke into the Eagles’ senior side in round six against Merbein and held his spot for round 7 at the weekend when he kicked a goal in the Eagles’ big win over South Mildura.

Richardson said he first came across Polata last season, before the coach had even crossed from Mildura to the Eagles.
