FLANNELETTE shirts and fake beards were popular among students who stepped back in time yesterday at Trinity Lutheran College’s Goldfields Day.

The Grade 5 students used their imagination to go back to 1854 to explore the Eureka Stockade.

Grade 5 and 6 teacher Mark Jackson said the students had spent the past term researching the historical event.
