In the Classroom: Little writers tackle big issues

STUDENTS at Nangiloc Colignan and District Primary School are excelling in literacy since the introduction of the Big Write Program.

The program that has students write for a solid 30 minutes each week on a range of topics was welcomed to the school this term.

Prep to Grade 2 teacher Sebastian Hume was impressed by the improvements he has seen.

“It’s been brilliant, it’s probably one of the most successful programs I have seen,” he said.
