SUNRAYSIA’S Knights’ family sporting legacy continues with Ally, daughter of former 279-game Richmond footballer and AFL coach Matthew, making waves down in Geelong in the South East Australian Basketball League.

Ally, 16, lives in Geelong, where her former Merbein and Imperials footballer father is an assistant coach at the city’s AFL side and has been impressing after forcing her way into the Supercats’ SEABL side.

She told the Geelong Advertiser of her journey, making her way on to the Supercats’ roster this year after starring for Victoria Country in the under-18 national championships.
