SATURDAY was World-wide Knit in Public Day and knitters in Wentworth gathered in Went Weaving  studio to celebrate by knitting together.

The world-wide event began in 2005 as a way for knitters to change what is usually a solitary occupation into a social gathering, where neighbours and friends could get together and enjoy a social day while knitting.

Went Weaving proprietor Glenis Beaumont organised the event and participants donated a gold coin towards the Wentworth Skateboard Park project.
