SUNRAYSIA Year 9 and 10 students got hands on yesterday at the Trades@Deakin and Trades@Riverside events.

Students got a chance to explore and “taste” a range of areas including hospitality, building, furniture making, engineering, automotive, hair and beauty at the Mildura Regional Trade Training Centre and Riverside Trade Training Centre.

Mildura Regional Trade Training Centre executive officer Trish Clifford said the annual event was a great opportunity to get students thinking about their subject choices in Years 11 and 12.
