THE Art Vault’s latest artist in residence Peter Ward is already planning his next trip to Sunraysia.

The Geelong-based artist spent the past three weeks in Mildura, where he completed a collection of lino prints that will be on display in Melbourne later this year.

The collection called “small tunes” will be recreated onto calico and made into a large quilt.

“It’s called small tunes, because it’s like when you have a song in your head and you can’t get rid of it,” Ward said.
