MILDURA speedway rider Jordan Stewart has earned praised from the Redcar Bears’ boss after overcoming a difficult start to the British Speedway Championship.
The Bears take on a strong-looking Glasgow Tigers side this morning (AEST), seeking to bounce back after successive home defeats.
Redcar will be looking for some improved performances, but boss Jitendra Duffill was heartened by the showings of the Bears’ riders at last week’s Julie Lewis Memorial meeting, particularly teenager Stewart.
“Jordan has had a tough start to the campaign but it has always been very clear to me that he has a lot of potential,” Duffill said on Wednesday.
