ABOUT 150 competitors finally took to the track at the North West Victorian Motorcycle Club’s first Enduro for the season last weekend.
Club Enduro representative Cam Penny said while track conditions were a little dusty on the first lap, a strong breeze helped to blow the dust away.
Penny said in the Junior Big Wheel up to 250cc class the competition was extremely tight with Connor Albert, Lachie Trainor and Jack Bithell all fighting for the outright lead for the entire race. Albert came out on top by the smallest of margins.
In the 85cc Big Wheel class, Max Phillips showed a consistent and polished performance to lead from start to finish and in the 85cc Small Wheel class Lachie Metcalf had a great battle with Ethan Alderton.
