Having been an emergency services worker for many years I am appalled at a magistrate’s decision to release two women for the cowardly and drunken attack on a senior ambulance officer which ended his career.
Surely they need to be accountable for their actions.
It seems the attacks we endured 20 years ago are still acceptable to the legal system.
One can only hope these creatures do not need help from the ambos in the future – of course they would get it, and that in itself highlights the injustice. The magistrate believes a jail term will not help them to rehabilitate.
I think they are way past that stage and will always be a drain on society.
Rehabilitation? What a load of used oats.
