A HOME offering stunning Murray River views on Gol Gol’s exclusive Carramar Drive has hit the market – and it’s expected to fetch more than $2 million.
The property, at 41 Carramar Drive, features five bedrooms, four bathrooms and an in-ground pool on 3892 sq m.
It has a listing price of $2 million to $2.2 million.
The Mediterranean-inspired house has been fully renovated inside and out with stone benchtops and a full marble fireplace and ensuite.
At the river, there is a boat ramp, decked barbecue area and and a timber pontoon wrapped around a tree.
Collie & Tierney First National director Ben Ridley said properties on the riverfront side of Carramar Drive rarely appeared on the market.
He said the street was “the most commanding address” in Sunraysia because of its stretch of quality homes, access to the river and proximity to Mildura.
“Every couple of years you might see one that pops up, but it’s a very, very tightly held location and that’s for a very good reason,” Mr Ridley said.
“Obviously the premium address and the beautiful riverfront is something people don’t want to give up if they don’t have to.”
Mr Ridley was confident of breaking the $2 million barrier given the “really strong” riverfront prices that had been achieved in recent months.
“The top end of the market is as strong as it’s ever been at the moment,” he said.
The highest publicly recorded price of a Carramar Drive property was $2.95 million in 2006.
