NISSAN Motorsport co-owner Todd Kelly says it will be business as usual for the 2019 Supercars Championship despite Nissan Australia officially announcing yesterday it would cut ties with Mildura’s Kelly brothers’ team.

Nissan Australia has elected not to renew its agreement with the team when its deal expires at the end of the year, leaving the team to run the current Nissan Altima for the 2019 season.

“It’s business as usual for us in 2019 as we continue to race the Altima next year,” Kelly said.

“We’re extremely proud of the work we’ve achieved in designing the Altima race car and a road car based engine for competition in this category.

“This announcement won’t slow our development as we continue to push further up the grid.”
