THIS Sunday the Robinvale Open will be played with golfers making the trip to the hidden gem to play 36 holes on one day for the right to be named Robinvale Open champion for 2018.

It will be near impossible to beat last year’s finish, when Greg Rhodes, Cameron Stewart and local Matthew Pascoe finished the 36 holes all square with a playoff required.

For Pascoe to hole his second shot on the short par-four 17th was unexpected at the time and will be remembered forever by everyone who witnessed such a great shot.

Pascoe will hope to defend his title at the weekend but will need to turn his form around after not getting the results he would’ve liked so far in this year’s opens.
