MILDURA West Primary School Grade 6 students are getting their hands dirty this term with “The Dig.”

The project based learning is being led by archaeologist and school parent Emma Oliver.

School principal Anne Robinson said The Dig used a simulated archaeological excavation as an engaging way to teach kids about the past, present and future.

“What Emma has created is amazing,” Ms Robinson said.
