All of Sunraysia can benefit from a change

I AM writing concerning the announcement in Sunraysia Daily on Saturday, May 12, regarding Ali Cupper standing at the next Victorian election.

All I can say is that this is great news for the seat of Mildura and hopefully the voters will get right behind her and vote for change and a return of funding, which will create employment and infrastructure and no more being forgotten in state and federal budgets.

As I have written previously, we on the NSW side of Sunraysia rely just as much as the Victorian side for hospital, medical, schooling – the list goes on, and for 12 years now the inactivity and “dribble” of funding that has come the way of the seat of Mildura under a National member must stop because of the “safe seat” stigma.

Peter Crisp is standing again for another term and really Mildura/Sunraysia, do you want another four years of being ignored in budgets?

Mildura, you need a strong voice in Parliament. A vote for Ali would mean a vote for change and it will benefit both sides of the border. All you have to do is look at Shepparton to see how much influence an independent can have in receiving funding in each budget.
