THE very first time Mildura’s Kyle Higginbotham walked through the doors of Ataru International Taekwon-Do, he decided he’d make it to the world’s championship.

Four years later, the 19 year-old’s dream has come true – he’s been selected to represent Australia at the world tournament in Argentina in July.

“I’m keen to bring home gold,” Kyle said. “The higher the competition, the more motivated I get.”

For his first international tournament, Kyle will compete in the first degree black belt category.
