THE smell of blooms was in the air at the annual Sunraysia Garden Club’s Autumn Flower and Floral Design Show over the weekend.

Event organiser Dianne Dalla Santa said entries were up this year compared to previous shows.

“We had between 200 and 250 entries across all categories this year,” she said.

“It’s far exceeded our expectations. It’s been a very busy weekend, which is great, especially when you take into account all the other activities that happen in the district.”
