Inquiry comes to Mildura

SUNRAYSIA residents will have an opportunity to make clear their concerns about management of water when the Murray-Darling Basin Royal Commission visits later this month.

The inquiry was established by the South Australian Government last year and is travelling across the basin with stops in southern Queensland, northern NSW and Broken Hill before a Mildura hearing on Friday, May 25.

Submissions from Sunraysia have already been lodged with the royal commission on behalf of the Lower Darling Horticulture Group and the Mildura branch of the Liberal Party's water advisory committee.
