Robinvale-Euston - ANZAC Day in Sunraysia: Ashley Valinoti relives historic trek

ROBINVALE local Ashley Valinoti said the town of Villers-Bretonneux holds memories he will never forget.

Ten years ago he travelled to France as a high school student and, after spending a week in Turkey visiting the Gallipoli landing, travelled to Villers-Bretonneux for the 90th anniversary of the battle and the Anzac Day dawn service.

“It’s hard to believe it’s been 10 years,” Mr Valinoti said.

“Having the opportunity to visit Villers-Bretonneux was incredible, the bond between their town and Robinvale runs so deep and it was wonderful to be a part of.
