AFTER weeks of planning and discussion, new totem poles have been revealed at Sacred Heart Primary School.

Over the past two days, each of the 360 students has put their mark on each class’s totem pole.

The longstanding tradition had each pole painted in a theme that reflects something important to each class and will remain on display for the rest of the year.

Religious education leader and senior professional learning team leader Loretta Thompson said the students look forward to tradition each year.
