Applicant claims crushing objection is on ‘emotional grounds’: Fight gets personal

LANDOWNERS fighting to stop a concrete crusher from re-opening within a kilometre of their Irymple and Koorlong homes have pleaded with councillors to reject Waters Excavations’ application to use the site.

Councillors will decide whether to grant Waters Excavations a permanent permit to crush concrete and recycle construction materials on the Cowra Avenue Extension block next Tuesday.
