HAWTHORN legend Shane Crawford says his former club is well placed to win “a lot of games” in 2018 and backed star midfielder Tom Mitchell as a genuine chance to win the Brownlow Medal.
In Mildura filming an upcoming episode of Postcards, the 2008 premiership player said he had been impressed by the Hawks’ start to the year.
Hawthorn are fourth on the ladder with three wins and one loss, to reigning premiers Richmond.
“Coming off a good test against Melbourne at the weekend – and they had a few injuries as that game went on – it just shows you they’re in a good place,” Crawford said.
