BROWNLOW medallist Shane Crawford arrived in Mildura yesterday to begin filming with his Postcards team, however he is no stranger to the region, with his first memory of the city as a teenager competing in a well-known cricket carnival.

The Hawthorn legend, who has been presenting for the travel and lifestyle show for close to a decade, said he had a few stories about Mildura, including playing in Willowfest as a 17-year-old.

“I played with Leigh Colbert who went on to play with Geelong and North Melbourne and a couple of my friends – we were just battlers having a bit of fun,” Crawford said.
