TO play into a quintessentially Italian stereotype, I’ve always been scared of any body of water deeper than a bathtub.
So when I heard about float therapy, I was intrigued, and quietly terrified.
Float therapy (or sensory deprivation) involves you, suspended in a combination of water and 300kg of Epsom salt, in a closed-in device that is suspiciously reminiscent of a coffin.
