Colourful Indian treat

MORE than 300 people from Sunraysia’s fast growing Indian community will come together tonight in a celebration of the various Indian cultures who call the region home.

The recently incorporated Sunraysia Indian Association’s inaugural event will be a feast of colour and music, with a variety of traditional dance and cultural heritage on display, held at Trinity Lutheran College.

Association joint treasurer Dr Narrendra Duggirala and secretary Parthee Gana said the event was a chance to bring the Indian community together and offer support to those who are new to the district.
