A SMALL flow of water in the Darling River has travelled better than authorities expectation but one man isn’t surprised.
Jamesville horticulturist Alan Whyte says the water making its way downstream towards Wilcannia is “the first unbastardised flow event in 30 to 40 years”.
A temporary ban on upstream pumping, which lower Darling farmers lauded last month as a huge breakthrough, has been extended until April 28.
