A EUSTON woman fears she may have fallen victim to a scam after she purchased a bed from a South Australian company in January and hasn’t received the goods or heard from the company since.
Megan Middlebrook purchased a $2000 bed and base from the company, which cannot be named, from a pop-up store operating out of a Mildura hotel conference room earilier this year.
She paid a $200 deposit for the goods.
“They were set up in the conference room, so (my family) went and had a look and we ended up purchasing a king-size bed and base,” Ms Middlebrook said.
