Students’ day on jury duty

TWO hundred Sunraysia VCE students swapped text books for the courtroom this week as part of an interactive justice system program.

The Victorian Law Foundation hosted its Regional Law Talks over two days, so legal studies students from schools across the region have a better understanding of the subjects covered in the classroom.

Experts from legal bodies including Parliament Victoria; the Magistrates’ Court of Victoria; and the Juries Commissioner’s Office met with students and took them through role playing workshops.
