Sunraysia comes into calculations

MATHEMATICS education was the focus  yesterday in a major teacher conference.

For the first time, a conference run by The Mathematical Associ­ation of Victoria (MAV) was held in Sunraysia.

More than 180 teachers from 14 schools in Sunraysia and the southern Mallee attended the event at Merbein P-10 College.

Red Cliffs Primary School principal Rod Beer was one of the driving forces behind it, following his school’s successful partnership with MAV.
