MILDURA Heat fans can expect a faster tempo when the Division 1 Women side opens the new Big V season this Saturday at the Hothouse.

With last season’s import Siobhan Beslow replaced by former Indiana University standout Alexis Gassion, a slight tweak to the game plan will be evident.

Coach James Madigan said the team would make up for what it had lost in rebounding with speed.
