A NEW alfresco area is just weeks away from completion at The Black Stump, with plans to also convert an existing area into an outdoor events space.

The Black Stump owner Liam Wood said the expansion would allow for a separate outdoor non-smoking area/alfresco dining space, with a structure currently being built out the front of The Settlers building.

“There will be non-smoking out on the street and smoking within the beer garden so we don’t have to ostracise anyone or stop them from doing what they want to do,” Mr Wood said.
