A lifetime of learning

THE end of Term 1 will be a sad but exciting day for Irymple Primary School assistant principal Garry Beer, who will retire from education after 45 years.

Mr Beer is looking forward to packing his bags for England, where he will have an extended holiday following his retirement.

“I am looking forward to travelling to England to visit my daughter for five or six weeks, then we will travel around Australia next year,” Mr Beer said.

“I am going to miss the children. The hardest part will be not seeing them every day from 8am.
