HUNDREDS of waterskiers, observers and drivers take to the Murray River to contest the penultimate of Ski Racing Australia’s River Classics this weekend.
The much-loved Robinvale Euston 80 Ski Race cranks into gear at Robinvale Bridge today before tomorrow’s 29th running of the main event.
Last year’s winning team Superman – comprising driver Darren McGuire, observer Brett Armstrong and skiers Daniel Cotton and Daniel Graziano – are front-runners in the top-flight Superclass.
The speed demon team are chasing their third river classic victory for the season after the Hawkesbury 120 in Sydney and the Ted Hurley Memorial Classic in Wentworth.
