BRITISH second seeds Katy Dunne and Gabriella Taylor will face off against third seeds Australian’s Alexandra Bozovic and Olivia Tjandramulia in today’s Mildura Grand Tennis International women’s doubles final.
Dunne and Taylor defeated fourth seeds Sherazad Reix and Alicia Smith 6-2, 4-6, 10-6 yesterday in their semi final while Bozovic and Tjandramulia won 6-0, 6-3 over Japanese pair Michika Ozeki and Ramu Ueda.
In the men’s doubles, No.1 seeds Gavin van Peperzeel and Andrew Whittington were bundled out in three sets by Jeremy Beale and Thomas Fancutt – who prevailed 1-6, 6-3, 10-8.
Beale and Fancutt will meet fourth seeds Edward and Harry Bourchier in the final after the Bourchiers beat Nathan Eshmade and Nicholas Hu 6-2, 7-6 in their semi-final.
The women’s doubles finals will be held at 3pm at the Mildura Lawn Tennis Club, with the men’s not before 4.45pm.
