THE 100 Bupa Aged Care residents and staff members we up for a ­double celebration on Valentine’s Day, the fifth anniversary of the Mildura care home.

The dining room was decorated with red hearts and blue balloons and residents, staff and families gathered for the special occasion.

“The staff has put out some food and our head chef has made a 

birthday cake that one of our initial residents will cut,” general manager Katrina ­Allen said. 

“We still have four residents who came in on our opening day in 2012 and some staff members are still here too.” Business administration man­ager Cheryl Kelso was one.
