DOING the hard yards on the training track has paid off for some of Sunraysia’s brightest women’s football prospects.

Cardross’ Tess Goodrem, Nangiloc’s Tahlia Coad and netball converts Brooke Hards and Sophie Kerridge have been named in the Bendigo Pioneers’ final squad of 30 for the Under 18 TAC Cup Girls competition.

Another Sunraysia girl, Nangiloc’s Montanna Humphrey – one of the youngest Pioneers trialists – was offered a position in the Futures program.
