Water safety is fun the sun

MORE than 200 Sacred Heart Primary School students received vital lifesaving skills at Apex Park this week.

Led by Life Saving Victoria instructors, the two-hour-long practical session was part of the Open Water Learning Experience program aimed at familiarising students with their local open-water environment.

Year 3 to Year 6 students were divided into small groups and rotated through five ­activities.
