Firing up for mate

FIREFIGHTERS are showing their support for long-time Mildura volunteer Brendan Robertson and his family as he battles cancer.

A pot and parmy night will be held next month to rally behind Mr Robertson, who is in intensive care at The Alfred hospital in Melbourne.

Mr Robertson started as a junior with Horsham Fire Brigade in 1985 and began as a Mildura firefighter in 1994.
